After starting out in print media sales at one of Australia’s leading media publishers, News Limited Rhiannon took some time off in 2009 to travel the world. On her return she made the switch to digital ad operations and throughout the years has continued to develop her expertise in the field. Rhiannon has grown to be a highly skilled ad operations specialist who enjoys the challenges and opportunities that a constantly evolving digital landscape has to offer.
Shelley is a Senior Digital Operations Specialist at Human-Traffic and a 15 year veteran in the Australian digital ad operations environment. Shelley has previously led Ad Operations teams at Kidspot, NewsAU, Adconion, and ninemsn; firstly starting out at eMitch as a Traffic Co-Ordinator back in 2000 – (but still maintains that she is only 21. Go figure!) A witty personality type – she’s also a dedicated manager that specialises in building and maintaining excellent adops teams, whilst providing support to a wide range of stakeholders. Shelley is also accustomed to dealing with teams remotely – her previous roles often supporting teams in various other states or countries. When she’s not wrangling your adserver, trafficking your campaigns and disciplining your sales teams (all at the same time), you’ll find her racking up some serious gaming hours on her PS3 console, or in the kitchen whipping up a mean [insert-kids-party-theme] birthday cake creation.
Catherine has been working in AdOps since August 2002 and since then has been developing her experience on both the Media Agency and Publisher side of the digital landscape. Catherine has worked at Digital Media Agency NetX and also Mindshare as Ad Operations Manager. She also worked for News Australia and assisted on a number of projects including an adserver migration and helping to set up inventory booking and invoicing systems. Catherine has been with Human Traffic since it’s conception in June 2011 and has worked on a number of varied projects that have further developed her skills and knowledge. Catherine has expert knowledge of the Doubleclick for Publishers adserving system, especially site tagging structure and creation. She is also skilled at reporting and can genuinely say she loves spreadsheets.
Sylvia began her career in digital media in 2006 at Ninemsn in Sydney. It is there she honed her skills in the Ad Operations department and upon moving back to her home state of Melbourne – she missed the fabulous food and shopping – Sylvia joined the Human Traffic team early on in the game in 2011. Working alongside a talented team with years of experience, she further developed her knowledge and is a dedicated digital media specialist working with many different clients over the years.
Scott has been Human Traffic’s Senior Platform Implementation Specialist since January 2015. After beginning his IT career in technical support, Scott moved into the nascent world of online advertising and digital media in 2000 with long-forgotten ISP OzEmail. After migrating them to DoubleClick DART just prior to the closing of their media network, he landed at ninemsn in 2001. For the next six years he rose up through the ranks from trafficker to leading the ninemsn Ad Operations team, creating and refining campaign management processes, maintaining the Accipiter (now Atlas) Ad Manager ad server and was part of the team which implemented the Solbright AdSuite platform as well as many media-first rich media executions. In 2008, Scott moved to News Digital Media (now News Corp Australia) to head up their Ad Operations team and be part of their migration from Atlas Ad Manager to DoubleClick DART and Solbright. As their team expanded and diversified, he began to specialise further into the technical and platform management areas. This involved leading initiatives to implement programmatic solutions, new rich media and video formats as well as being part of a 15 month project to upgrade from DART to DFP Premium and migrating News Corp from Solbright to Lineup’s AdPoint sales management platform. Looking for a fresh challenge, Scott jumped at the chance to join many former colleagues in the Human Traffic/A & A team in January 2015.
